Environmentally-friendly holiday in Ridnaun / Ridanna, South Tyrol

Our unspoilt mountain area contributes so much to our relaxing atmosphere, and that’s why we are so deeply committed to making sure it stays unspoilt. For this reason, the Hotel Schneeberg Family Resort & Spa relies on an environmentally friendly and CO₂ neutral energy. The green energy projects first took shape in 2009 with the opening of the hotel‘s own heating plant, taking an enormous step in the direction of environmentally-friendly holidays.

We use exclusively renewable and particularly climate-friendly energy sources in our hotel, including the entire spa area. The electricity comes from our hydro-plant, the pleasant heat of the bedrooms and relaxation rooms from our heating plant, which runs on chips from scrap wood. This gives advantage to everyone: our surroundings remain clean, the farmers can use the wood from their forests to its full advantage and our guests are guaranteed that they can rest their bodies and souls in harmony with nature. And last but not least, this environmentally friendly project was all developed by local companies. Sustainability is not just an empty word here: At the Hotel Schneeberg – Family Resort & Spa, we live by it.
